Slough Fort Preservation Trust Slough Fort, in Allhallows, Kent over looks the Thames estuary and is Victorian, built in 1867.

This page is all about the group of Volunteers who are all working to restore the Fort back to is former glory - we meet once a month to work on this project and always welcome new volunteers to join us.

We are just 3 followers short of crossing the 3000 mark, but the figures show that we have twice as many people looking at our page that do not follow us, that means we could have another 6000 followers !!! Please consider following us and help spread the word about our restoration, or even better come visit us for a guided tour and help financially with the restoration. Father’s Day is coming up in two weeks time, treat Dad to a tour and a visit to the north Kent Thames shore line, we look forward to meeting you.

We are nearing that time of year when we have our major annual open day, this year it is Sunday 19th July and tickets are live now to book via ticket source.
It’s a chance to see what progress we have made in the last year with our current lottery and other grants.
A lot has changed and moved forward so visit us to catch up and support the restoration.
Open 10-4, guided tours throughout the day (included in the admission price), classic and military vehicles on display, live firing of muskets courtesy of the 42nd black watch plus other stands with displays.
The new educational children’s interactive area will be unveiled and have the artist Johnny Dixon who created it on hand to answer your questions.
There is also a guided tour now available on a large screen for those visitors that have trouble climbing stairs.
