Scope Out brought people together to develop a sticker to place across Romford, and our final design is almost complete! We are launching the reveal of the design on July 17 at

Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride in Romford!

Saturday 6 June we are taking over the Mercury Shopping Centre!

What's On?

Level 1 - LGBTQ+ Mart.

Stalls on the day will include:

- artwork by koeggki,

- prints, stickers and portraits by Robin Whalley,

- hand-drawn creations by Wanderlustwarren,

- and many more local independent artists and makers.

- Create a zine with Katie In Colour. Katie is an Illustrator & Facilitator based in Basildon, Essex who uses multimedia techniques to create illustrations that are vibrant and full of character

Level 2 - Rainbow Gaming

- Join Dicing With Life who are hosting rainbow-themed games and activities. With hundreds of games available, the group offers a welcoming environment where visitors can socialise, play and connect with others.

Level 3 - Identity workshop and film marathon

- Well Social invites visitors to express their identity through a unique interactive art installation. Participants will be able to imprint everyday objects that represent who they are, with the items then transformed into plaster casts and displayed during LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

- Movie marathon at Lumiere. Enjoy a full day of mystery LGBTQ+ films. Tickets cost just £10 for the entire day, with all proceeds helping fund Pride in Romford 2027. Book your tickets through Eventbrite!

If you're looking for an inclusive space to try bouldering, come along to the Q***r Climb at romfordrockandboulder, in collaboration with Epping Forest Pride and Basildon Pride

Hannah will be in the café space to keep anyone company who isn't ready to climb, while there will plenty of friendly faces on the mat to help you get started, offer tips, and cheer you on!

Come along solo or bring some friends, everyone is welcome!
