A special welcome at Havering Town Hall this week as the Mayor of Havering, Councillor Maggie Themistocli, received the Mayor of Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Prof. Dr. Klaus Blettner, for a twinned town visit!🤝

The visit celebrated the long-standing friendship between Romford and Ludwigshafen am Rhein, a partnership that has been going strong since 1971.

The Mayor was joined by Starbuck Coleman, Mayor’s Consort, and Deputy Mayor of Havering, Cllr Christine Vickery.

A great reminder of the value of our international links and the connections that continue to bring communities together.
