Water Outages

Evening all, we’re aware that water is off again in parts of the Upper Lighthorne.

Councillor Goodman has been in touch with Severn Trent again today, and they’ve confirmed a meeting is scheduled next week to work out a plan to stop these constant outages.

They’re currently looking at several improvements, such as upgrading booster systems, bringing in more tankers, and redirecting water from other supply routes to help us cope during the hot weather.

Thank you for bearing with this, we know it’s been a tough few weeks. More updates soon.

For information/reference, our current priorities have been set as Burglary, Speeding, and Anti-Social Behaviour and these will run until September, when we will then reassess the survey responses.

UKHSA and the Met office have issued a yellow alert for the West Midlands effective up until 8pm on 11th July.

and keep your home cool by:

- Closing blinds and curtains on windows exposed to direct sun

- Moving to the coolest part of your home

- Open windows when air feels cooler outside than inside

Dozens of Warwickshire residents had the chance to try out pétanque after a local sports club worked with Think Active to secure funding for new facilities.
