Barnsley Heritage Connects

Barnsley Heritage Connects Founded by Barnsley Museums, we're a network for people who love Barnsley’s wonderful historic places

From great stately homes to dusty old pit tracks we celebrate Barnsley’s rich heritage and champion grass roots cultural groups borough wide. We organise heritage social events online and at amazing places and there’s always something new to do and learn about our shared heritage. So, if you want to find out what cultural things are happening, have a community event to promote, or perhaps you simp

ly want to share a Barnsley memory, then you have come to the right place. Please follow to find out more and also tag us in your own Barnsley heritage stories.

Darfield All Saints are taking part in the Church Explorers Week, this Saturday 23 May 10am-3pm. Why not combine it with a trip to Darfield Museum?

Come along and explore the church and the church yard!

Lots of things for the kids to do including hunting for minibeasts, a quest and refreshing our bug hotel.

The tower will also be open (times TBC) so you can see the bells as well as guided tours and refreshments!
