MISSING | We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing 44-year-old from the Bodmin area.

Kevin Eddy has been missing since Saturday 29 August and has not taken his medication with him.

Kevin is described as a white male, of medium build, with dark brown hair and a brown stubble beard. His last known clothing was black trousers and a black hoodie.

He was last seen in the Bodmin area but has links to Penzance.

Anybody who sees Kevin or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 999 quoting 50260231734.

📟 Tasking #74 – Sunday 30th August at 16:55 📟

The team was tasked following reports of a missing 12-year-old in the Porthmeor and Porthgwidden area of St Ives.

As the team was gathering at the station, we received confirmation that the individual had been located safe and well. With no further assistance required, the team was stood down.

📟 Tasking #73 – Thursday 27th August at 15:34 📟

The team was paged to the Hell’s Mouth area alongside St Ives Lifeboat and H. M. Coastguard Portreath Rescue Team following concerns for the welfare of an individual.

Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that the individual was safe and did not require assistance. All teams were stood down.

This was a call with good intent. We would always encourage anyone concerned about someone’s safety around the coast to make that call.

See how much easier it is to spot someone in the water?

Wearing bright colours such as neon yellow, green, orange and pink can improve your visibility in the water and make it easier for others to spot you if you get into difficulty.

In an emergency at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

📟 Tasking #72 – Thursday 20th August at 19:30 📟

The team was tasked to Dynamite Quay, Lelant, to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust with a casualty who had fallen from the quay.

As the team arrived on scene, paramedics were already attending to the casualty and it was confirmed that no further assistance from the team was required.

The team returned to station, ready for further tasking.

We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
