Another Great Result for Local Residents

It’s always important to highlight when local concerns are listened to and acted upon.

Following residents raising ongoing issues with blocked road drains and surface water flooding, Natalie has worked hard to ensure action was taken. This week, drainage grids on Vine Avenue were finally cleaned after residents reported they had been neglected for many years.

One resident contacted Natalie to thank her, saying this was something that had not been done in around 20 years and that they are now looking forward to the next heavy downpour knowing the water should finally drain away properly instead of causing problems in the street and nearby gardens.

This is what local representation should be about. Listening to residents, raising concerns, and getting practical results that make a real difference to people’s everyday lives.

Another fantastic day out campaigning and supporting Rob Kenyon for Makerfield alongside the team at Reform UK - Wigan / Reform UK

Joined by 2 of our Salford Reform councillors Councillor Daryl Stone-Shaw - Pendleton & Charlestown and Cllr Chris Bates for Claremont

The response from local people was overwhelmingly positive. We received plenty of support from residents on the doorstep, along with countless beeps, waves and thumbs up from passing motorists throughout the day.

It’s clear that people across this part of the North West have had enough of career politicians who have taken their votes for granted for far too long. Residents are crying out for normal, hard-working, decent people to represent them, both locally and nationally.

People want politicians who understand the challenges they face, listen to their concerns and put their communities first.

The momentum behind Reform UK continues to grow, and every conversation we have reinforces the message that real change is needed.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, shared their views and showed their support.

What a great pub this used to be when the top road was alive. The Britannia, now under refurbishment to become yet another HMO, when completed it will be the 4th HMO within 30 yards of the other 3. 😡

I'm appalled at the state of the roads in and around Clifton and Pendlebury. Potholes typically over 40mm deep! So I thought I would share this with you. See it, report it and if you subsequently get car damage. You know what to do.
