When can we expect an apology from Reform for this disgusting behaviour?

As the clips began to surface of ITV’s investigation showing Reform councillors and candidates calling Muslims “parasites” and describing black children as “animals”, Reform had a choice. 🤔

Own it, remove the people involved and fix the vetting. Or indulge in a strategy of smear, whataboutery and threats. They chose the latter. 🙄

Richard Tice posted three headlines about Labour, Tory and Green councillors to smear the responses of those parties to misbehaviour by their representatives. But look at them closely:

❌ The former Tory left the council in 2010. His crimes came afterwards.

❌ The Green councillor has been charged, denies the allegations and was suspended by her party the same day.

❌ The Labour councillor resigned and was out of the party within months of his arrest.

This was a stretch… In each case, the parties took action against the individuals involved. Reform’s response to its own footage that shows widespread misconduct was to deflect blame a “handful of individuals” who supposedly slipped through vetting, then attack everyone else.

Nigel Farage went further, threatening to prosecute ITV News if Reform wins power.

Journalists investigate Reform, uncover appalling behaviour by its candidates, and Farage’s response is to threaten the journalists.

That raises a serious question about how Reform would treat scrutiny if it held power.
