Will the person or persons who have rendered the swing unusable please go back and unwind the rope. It is well known and well used feature of Littleheath Woods and lots of children will be disappointed not to be able to use it.

If you are thinking of wandering in our wonderful woods to escape the heat and humidity and planning to enter via the steps at the junction of Littleheath and Queenhill Roads do please be careful: not only has the recent storms washed the pebbles from the top down the steps making them dangerous but one timber step has been dislodged due to rot plus builders are working in an adjacent property and have constructed a timber walkway up the steps to allow them to move materials to the back garden. In addition there is overhanging vegetation from an adjacent property. All aspects have been reported to Croydon Council on Clean Streets, for action.

If you are venturing to Littleheath Woods and entering via the steps at the Queenhill / Littleheath Road entrance please be careful. The recent rains have washed the gravel down the slope onto the steps making the footing perhaps challenging. In addition some building work adjacent has damaged the second to top step.
It has been reported to Croydon Council……
