This is Shelley... My Horsefield/Russian tortoise! Horsefield Tortoises make great pets as they are very lively and outgoing.
Originally they come from Central Asia so enjoy a nice warm environment. We provide this through heat lamps so she doesn't get cold! Her favourite food is cucumber, although this isn't the most nutritious so she has it as a treat.

Shelley was my first pet just for me and I enjoy her because she isn't boisterous or demanding. She is calm and so relaxing to watch!

I bet you think she is slow....? Well think again! She moves quite quickly! I'll try and get a video to show you soon.

Her full name is Shelley Bombard!

Yesterday we went on a road trip!! was so much fun!! We did the theme park, CBeebies land, Sea Life Centre and so much more!

Yesterday was closed so I decided to help my friend Paul with the bird training. We flew Igor the Snowy Owl and Winky our 1 eyed Great Grey Owl. We had a lot of fun!

For I wanted to share this quote. It is very important not to assume all is the same. We are all so different, just like everyone else has different personality traits. Generalising asd can be quite offensive. Just because I don't present the way you assume Autists should, doesn't mean you should question my diagnosis.... I get this a lot and its very annoying!! Im just a human that experiences things differently to you. 💙

We also started a science project today after exploring the woods near our new house. We have decided to study the plants and animals living in the woods across all 4 seasons and report all of our findings in a book. At the end of the year, we can look back at a full year in the woodland. We identified all of the plants etc attached. How many can you name correctly?!
