Are you passionate about supporting children and helping families heal?

We’re looking for a dedicated Children and Family Domestic Abuse Worker to join our frontline team and support those in our dispersed accommodation.

You’ll be a vital support system for the women and children, offering individualised and trauma informed support to families who have experienced domestic abuse.

To celebrate we gathered together to honour the bond we share as women and our strength as a group, held in the evening so all our residents could enjoy some food and fun.

For the privacy and safety of the women we support we can’t show you too many photos of the get together so we thought we’d highlight the work of one of own.

The theme of this years is encouraging a mindset of generosity, collaboration and support. A shining example of this and how we work as an organisation, is our lead practitioner Julie, who has used her knowledge, skills and compassion to support and empower the women of SWA for over 30 years (and always shows up with a smile, just look at that face 😉).

When women thrive, we all rise so to every woman today keep on thriving!
