✨Stronger Together. Positive change starts with action. ✨

Over the last two days, we had the absolute pleasure of joining incredible women from all across the UK. Every single one is striving to enact real, positive change in the lives of women and children in our society.

We listened to, learned from and were inspired by powerhouse leaders in our sector, such as:

•Farah Nazeer (CEO of Women's Aid) who opened the conference.

•Natalie Fleet (Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls) joined us remotely to share updates on her work.

•Nikki Bradley MBE (Women’s Aid Director of Delivery) and Nicole Jacob’s (Domestic Abuse Commissioner) took the stage for a heated panel reflecting on the impact of the Domestic Abuse Act 5 years on and the issues that still need to be addressed.

Even our very own HOO stepped up for an impromptu panel, sharing invaluable insights from her over 20 years of dedicated work within the VAWG sector.

Thank you to everyone who spoke, attended, and shared their passion. The road ahead is long, but together, we are making a difference. 💜

. Always.

We’re incredibly proud to be attending the 2026 Women's Aid National Conference, collaborating with colleagues, experts and partners to share our experiences and tackle the key challenges facing our sector today.

Spot our amazing CEO Hollie Venn on the panel sharing insights into the needs of survivors and how we can build positive change and more supportive and safer futures for women and girls moving forward. 💜

Everyone has a part to play in ending domestic abuse - make sure your team doesn't look like this from the sidelines.
For many, football means passion, pride, and matchday energy. But for survivors, it can mean something very different. That's why we're talking about The Other Kick Off, the one that starts when he gets home.

Figures like these show exactly why we still have so much work to be done in tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). 💔

To be absolutely clear: football does not cause abuse. However, statistics consistently show a deeply concerning rise in domestic abuse cases after international tournaments—regardless of whether the team wins or loses.

Abuse is a choice made by perpetrators, but major sporting events can act as a catalyst, intensifying existing control and violence. We cannot afford to look the other way when the whistle blows.

Behind every statistic is a real person. If you or someone you know is affected by domestic abuse, please know that you are not alone and support is out there.
