Today is the start of the Pre election Rules on Publicity (PERP). These rules stay in place until the polls close on 7 May. During this time, we must follow the Code of Recommended Practice on Local Authority Publicity (2011). This helps us keep our social media channels politically neutral. While PERP is in place, we will remove all political comments. This includes comments about political parties, candidates, or political issues

We are thrilled with the final results of the restoration of the No.1 Peas historic 'ghost sign' at Sandygate Road in Crosspool. A fantastic piece of partnership work between the LAC, High Street Futures team, Crosspool Forum, building owners and local artists Liah Edwardes, Joel Barton and Joe Harrison. This piece of history is now preserved for years to come
