We are a warm and welcoming wellbeing group based in Shepshed open to all.

Come and join us this Wednesday at Finkins Cafe, Market Place, Shepshed.

We have a small and friendly group where we think and learn about practical ways to improve our mental health and wellbeing. Or you can simply sit and chat. We also have table activities.

Lovely coffee, drinks and cake are available !

Come along anytime between 5 and 7pm. There are no expectations and we guarantee confidentiality.

The group is led by local qualified volunteers with NHS mental health support.

👉 Savings up to £60m
👉 Millions of lines of data analysed
👉 Identified savings on top of £44m savings in current budget

The first review of the council’s spending has highlighted up to £60m of potential extra savings

Measures to significantly drive down costs include:

ℹ️ expanding social care teams to boost independence
ℹ️ supporting the care market
ℹ️ intervening to prevent people reaching crisis point
ℹ️ creating more residential care places

Other areas identified by the review feature:

ℹ️ stepping up support so children can stay with their families
ℹ️ getting better value from contracts
ℹ️ maximising data, AI and tech

Improvements to services will involve:

ℹ️ better support when someone comes home from hospital
ℹ️ more time for staff on front line support
ℹ️ improved work with NHS and voluntary partners
