Big Shoreham Seascape, come along to Marlipins Museum to cut and colour things that you’ll find at the seaside to complete this giant mural. The museum is free to all, open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am - 3pm.

Last week we were delighted to welcome the Time Travel in Sussex project led by Culture Shift, to learn about the ways we can make our museum accessible to everyone, and improve the visitor experience for people with disabilities.

As part of our project Time Travel in Sussex we're providing training at each of our partner venues to help increase the awareness of best practices and potential barriers, ensuring a better experience for visitors with disabilities

Last week Culture Shift CEO Julia and our intern from University of Brighton delivered disability awareness training at Marlipins Museum and here is some feedback from the session:

"Will hopefully increase interest in collective improvements in our museum. Will also, encourage creative, achievable and 'maintained' physical changes/approaches to displays"
