A special shout-out for our Wednesday Coffee Morning, 10am–12pm.

It’s a really friendly group and a nice way to get out of the house, have a coffee and meet other people. There’s plenty of conversation, and sometimes the cards come out for a game too.

No need to know anyone before you come. Just pop in, grab a coffee and join the table.

Swap instead of shop?

Join us at Blackfen Community Library for a community clothes swap where you can give your unwanted clothes a new home and find something new for yourself at the same time.

Bring along clean, good-quality clothes, shoes or accessories you no longer wear and swap them for items you'll love.

While you're browsing, you'll also be able to enjoy a short talk with practical decluttering tips, plus light refreshments.

Ladies Who Latte is coming to Blackfen !

A new Bexley Ladies Who Latte group is starting at Blackfen Community Library this September, giving local businesswomen a relaxed place to meet, make connections and talk business.

There are no speakers, no agenda and no meeting fee. Just turn up, grab a coffee from Rooted Coffee House and meet other women running and growing businesses locally.

Sparkles Babies is starting a free six-week course this September for parents and carers of babies aged 0–1.

Led by a former health visitor, the sessions will offer practical parenting tips alongside relaxed conversations about bonding, attachment, nurturing your baby and understanding their development.

It’s also a chance to meet other parents and carers with babies at a similar stage.

Our monthly Coffee and Health sessions are a chance to have an informal chat about everyday health topics with registered nurse Samten, a registered nurse.

Each month focuses on something different, and for August we’ll be talking about skin health.

Come along to pick up useful information, ask questions and enjoy a coffee while you’re here.
