Its true what they say that You never truly "get over" the death of someone deeply important to you instead, you learn to process the loss, carry the grief, and integrate their memory into your evolving life. For matthew thats hard and we can see that he is experiencing waves of numbness as he isn't showing interest in activities so I thought about making a cake to keep his mind busy and it worked. He absolutely loves baking. I forgot to take photos along the way but he was happy with the end result 😁

We worked hard this morning at the allotment, we planted all of Henry's peas that he sowed before he passed away, as a reward and to cheer us up we had a domino's pizza, plus it was a little treat for hannah as it soon will be her birthday so she had a surprise birthday cake.
Full tummies all round 🤣🤣

The funeral of Henry Carnall will be held on Monday 9th March at 2pm at The East Devon crematorium, Whimple (EX5 2PT) .
All who knew our Henry are welcome.
We as a family kindly request anyone wishing to attend to wear a bit of pink (Henry's favourite colour) or something to represent his favourite pirates ☠️ so we can celebrate his life and give him the send off he deserves.
After the service please join us to celebrate Henry's life at The Grey Hound Pub in Fenny Bridges.
We look forward to welcoming you all

There’s no easy way to write this, but just to let you know Sadly Henry has passed away this morning, peacefully at home with family by his side.
Henry has been battling cancer for the last 6 months.
Henry was a much loved son, brother, uncle and friend will be missed by us all.

Funeral details will be announced at a later date
