We use the PACE model in therapeutic fostering to provide foster parents with a trauma-informed way to respond to behaviour. It focuses on building trust, safety and security.

PACE is about how you act with a child in their difficult moments and approaching their behaviour with curiosity, empathy and calmness, rather than just focusing on correcting it.
