Somerset Prepared Community Resilience Awards 2026 are now live for nominations
The Resilience Awards recognise groups and individuals who have gone above and beyond to champion and progress community resilience in Somerset.
It could be your local flood group, which keeps the flood plans up to date and the community informed. It could be your Parish or Town Council which can be counted on to think ahead and make plans to keep everyone safe. It could be someone who has set up a good neighbour initiative or who looks after the emergency equipment.
Whoever it is, please let us know about their fantastic work by nominating them for an award.
The Somerset Prepared Partnership will present a Group Award and an Individual Award. The awards will be presented at the 2026 Somerset Community Resilience Day on Wednesday 21st October 2026 at Millfield School, Street. As well as the public recognition they deserve, the winners will receive a voucher for community activities. So - it’s time to get nominating!
Nominations close on Tuesday 22nd September 2026.
