Somerton Town Council has two fantastic opportunities for motivated and experienced individuals

Responsible Financial Officer (24 hours per week)
1. Experienced Finance Professional
2. AAT qualified or above, full membership status.
3. Financial management experience
4. Year-end accounts and auditor liaison

Town Clerk (37 hours per week)
1. Ensure legal, statutory and governance requirements are met
2. Experience preparing agendas and minutes
3. Knowledge of local government governance, office management, and asset management

⚠️ Important Safety Notice – Play Park Area ⚠️

Unfortunately, the safety fencing around the new play park has been damaged and sections have been left open.

Please be aware that the park has not yet been signed off by the relevant regulatory bodies and is therefore not yet safe to use.

We ask all parents, guardians and young people to stay out of the fenced area and not to tamper with the fence at any time as this is very dangerous.

We endeavour to ensure that the safety certificate is received and the safety signage is installed ready for the play area to be open during the Fun Day on Saturday 28th June.
