Friends Of Surestart CSF We are a group that has been set up to help work along side Surestart to not only help raise money to benefit them.

As Friends Of Surestart, we are here to help bring families into Surestart that may be having trouble in accessing the services that are provided by them. We are also here to help raise money to not only provide snacks during groups that are run but also to raise money to help keep the many groups and services provided to run.

Your local Sure Start dads club is in danger of closing! In Southampton there are dads cubs on Saturday mornings at pickles coppice sure start centre Millbrook and Central Clovelly rd, st Marys. Open to dads and other male carers of 5' & under. Use them or lose them.

A big thank you to all who came to the family fun day on Saturday. We raised over £250!!! We're currently discussing how we can use this to support sure start and the local community. Do you have any ideas of your own- get in touch.

We are a parent lead organisation called FOSS CSF which stands for Friends Of Sure Start Central Shirley and Freemantle. We will be doing a family fun day this saturday at the ashby centre at 11-1. This is to help raise money for Sure Start activities to help provide a healthly snack when you attend one of our universal services and hopefully in the long run when we have grants and donations from businesses and people we would like to organise trips for the families in the school holidays like surestart used to do years ago when they had the money. So please please come down to our very own first event in shirley at the ashby centre. Its free entry. Although there will be charges for hot n cold foods n refreshments etc on the day. A big plus is we will be INSIDE oh yes and the bouncy castle will be inside too so come along meet some friends and family and have a laugh. We are also always looking for more help whether you want to donate your time into being a committee member and taking a specific role or just helping out on the day to spread the word or just to have ur say in what u think we should be helping out with.
