🌿 Taking Flight with Colour & Creativity! 🎨

Today was a wonderful celebration of color, curiosity, and creativity as we immersed ourselves in a special bird-themed day! We explored a wide variety of remarkable bird species, challenging our knowledge by guessing different birds using clue-filled descriptions and enjoying interactive quizzes that kept everyone on their toes🪶

The highlight of the day came when everyone rolled up their sleeves to construct their very own flying bird creations. Watching those handmade birds take flight was the perfect finish to an already memorable day. Thank you to everyone who joined in and made the day so lively and bright! 🦜

🍂🍁 A Wonderful Day of Autumn Crafts & Sensory Fun!🍁🍂

We’ve had a lovely day embracing all things autumn at our craft and sensory session! 🍃✨

🌿 We started the day by decorating our very own hessian scent sacks, filling them with some of our favourite fragrances. From refreshing mint to calming lavender and zesty lemongrass, there were plenty of wonderful scents to enjoy! 💚💜

🖐️ Next up was our autumn sensory guessing game! We put our sense of touch to the test, feeling different autumnal items and trying to guess what was hiding without peeking. There were lots of curiosity, concentration and fun along the way! 🍂🤔

🎨 In the afternoon, we took time to appreciate the beautiful colours of autumn all around us, collecting natural treasures and inspiration to use in our creative art session. From golden leaves to earthy textures, nature provided us with a wonderful palette of colours and ideas! 🍁🧡

It was a fantastic day full of creativity, sensory exploration and seasonal discovery. We loved seeing everyone getting involved, trying new things and enjoying the magic of autumn! 🍂🥰

🌟 A wonderful day out in St Neots!🌟

Today we enjoyed a fantastic trip to St Neots Museum, exploring local history, discovering fascinating exhibits and making some lovely memories along the way! 🏛️

After our visit, we headed over to Poppys Vintage Tearoom for a relaxing stop, enjoying some lovely hospitality and a chance to unwind☕🍰💛

We’re also delighted to announce our partnership with Poppy’s Tearoom, who will be preparing delicious, freshly made lunches for our day centre! We’re really looking forward to enjoying their tasty lunches and bringing something extra special to our days at the centre🥪🥗

A big thank you to everyone who made today so enjoyable, and a warm welcome to Poppy’s Tearooms as we begin this exciting partnership! 🤝❤️

✨Light Up October!🕯️

What a lovely, creative morning we’ve had at our Light Up October session! 🌟

We kicked things off by creating our very own beautiful stained glass art, filling the morning with colour, creativity and lots of lovely designs. 🎨🪟

We then moved on to making paper lanterns, adding even more autumnal magic to our session! 🏮🍁

It was wonderful to see everyone getting creative, trying new things and bringing their ideas to life. A perfect way to brighten up October and celebrate the season! ✨🧡

A huge well done to everyone who took part — we can’t wait to see what we create next! 🍂💛

📰 Stories, Headlines and Happy Memories

Today at The Eaton Grove Community, we took a trip down memory lane for our very own Newspaper Memories Day! 💙

We kicked things off with a lively reminiscence session, chatting about the big news stories we remembered growing up, the headlines that made history and the events that stayed with us over the years. There were plenty of memories, interesting conversations and a few “I remember that!” moments along the way! 🗞️💭

Then it was time to become journalists ourselves! We got creative making our very own personalised newspapers, celebrating our previous jobs, favourite hobbies and the things we've always loved. It was wonderful to see everyone's personalities and life stories shine through each unique creation✍️📰

In the afternoon, we rolled up our sleeves for some newspaper crafts, cutting out interesting pictures, quirky headlines and eye-catching images to create even more newspaper-inspired masterpieces ✂️🎨

From remembering the headlines of the past to making a few headlines of our own, it was a fantastic day full of creativity, connection, laughter and treasured memories! 🥰

🌿Gardening Workshop! 🌿

Today was all about creativity, nature and a little bit of autumn sunshine! 🍂💚

Our room was full of colour and creativity as we each put our own unique touch on our plant pots, before planting them up with beautiful seasonal pansies fresh from the market🎨🪴🌸

Then it was time to head outdoors! We enjoyed a lovely stroll around our local area, collecting conkers, enjoying the fresh air and, of course, having plenty of good chats along the way🍂🌳

We finished the day by getting creative again with beautiful floral collages, turning our inspiration from nature into something lovely to take pride in🌺✂️

It was a wonderful day filled with creativity, conversation, fresh air and meaningful moments — exactly what a Bloom day is all about! 💙

🎬🍿 A DAY AT THE PICTURES! 🍿🎬

Lights, camera… reminiscence! ✨

Today, we stepped back in time for a fabulous ‘Day at the Pictures’ — complete with plenty of popcorn, famous faces and memories from the golden days of cinema! 🎞️❤️

Our day was filled with:
🎬 Famous films and familiar faces
⭐ Guess the Celebrity games
🎶 Movie music and singalongs
🧠 Cinema-themed quizzes and reminiscence
🍿 And, of course… popcorn!

From favourite films and classic stars to memories of trips to the cinema, there was lots of conversation, laughter and a few “Oh, I remember them!” moments along the way. 💭

We love creating days that are more than just activities — they’re opportunities to spark memories, encourage conversation, build friendships and have plenty of fun together. 💙

A fantastic day at the pictures… without even needing to queue for the tickets! 🎟️🍿✨
