Britain is becoming dangerously reliant on imported diesel.

Diesel keeps supermarket shelves stocked, hospitals supplied, farms working, bins collected, construction moving and freight on the road. But while demand remains high, Britain’s refining and storage capacity has been allowed to disappear.

We once had 18 refineries. We now have four. More than half the diesel used in Britain is imported.

That is not resilience. It is a national risk.

For too long, governments have made it harder to produce energy in Britain while allowing our dependence on overseas supply to grow. Reform UK would put energy security first: Backing British oil and gas, restore capacity, protect jobs and stop punishing domestic production while importing what we could produce here.
That's what Reform UK will do

Britain must stop outsourcing its security.
