The Town Team volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes to bring another fantastic day of music, entertainment and community fun to Stalybridge.

Whether you're planning to spend the day in Victoria Market Hall, discover new local artists, visit your favourite venue, or simply soak up the atmosphere around town, we'd love to see you there.

🎶 BRIDGE FEST VENUE SPOTLIGHT: VICTORIA MARKET HALL

We’re counting down to Bridge Fest ’26 by taking a closer look at what’s happening across the town – and Victoria Market Hall has a packed programme for all ages!

The day begins with a children’s workshop at 11am, followed by an afternoon of live music, local talent, jazz, community performances and poetry.

🎨 11am – Children’s Workshop

🎤 1pm – Sound Hut Music Choir

🎷 1.30pm – ENJO Jazz Orchestra and Singers

🌟 2pm – Young local talents Jack and Lexi

📝 2.30pm – Mark Llewellin, High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, and MP Jonathan Reynolds, joined by poets Kevin Wright, Linda Boyles, Yvonne Shaw and Kathy Towers

BRIDGE FEST MEETS STREET FEST! 🍔🎸

This Friday, Armentieres Square will get a little taste of what’s coming to Bridge Fest ’26.

As part of Street Fest, selected artists who will be appearing at Bridge Fest will be performing live throughout the evening, bringing festival vibes to one of Stalybridge’s favourite food and drink events.

🧡💙 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS SATURDAY!

Stalybridge Town Team Clean Up is back this Saturday 25th July, and we’d love you to join us.

Whether you’re a regular volunteer or have never joined us before, every extra pair of hands helps make a real difference.

📅 Saturday 25th July
⏰ 9:30am
📍 Armentieres Square (Town Team Hub, corner of Tesco car park)

We’ll split into small teams and spend a couple of hours helping to keep Stalybridge looking its best by tackling litter around the town centre and along the canal.

✔️ Litter pickers, bags and high-vis vests provided
✔️ No experience needed
✔️ Friendly atmosphere and great company

Just turn up on the day and get involved.
