🚨 Fly-Tipping Enforcement Action – Sacriston 🚨
A female from the Langley Park area of Durham was caught on CCTV fly-tipping waste in the Sacriston area, specifically at Acorn Close Lane.
Following our investigation, the female was initially sent a contact letter but denied being responsible for the offence.
A Section 108 notice was subsequently issued, inviting her to attend an interview. During the interview, once presented with the CCTV footage, the female admitted the offence.
As a result, a £1,000 Fixed Penalty Notice was issued, which has now been paid in full. ✅
📹 This case highlights the importance of reporting fly-tipping. Our Neighbourhood Wardens will continue to investigate offences and use available evidence, including CCTV, to identify those responsible.
