📚 Take 10 to Read this Thursday 8 October 2026! National Literacy Trust British Council

The National Literacy Trust and British Council are attempting a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most people reading online in 12 hours, and you can be part of it. 🌍

It's simple: join a free online session, then take 10 minutes to read whatever you love. A book, comic, magazine, recipe or match report all count. 📖
✨ Four sessions for different ages (5-8, 8-12, 12-16 and 16+)
✨ Sessions start from 9am to 8pm BST, and you only need to join one
✨ Families can watch together on one big screen

For the children and young people in our fostering families, shared reading time is a lovely way to relax, connect and build confidence. Reading together on and around World Mental Health Day is good for wellbeing too. 🧡
