It's Window Wednesday! Our featured window for September is this delightful window installed sometime soon after 1878. It was given to the church by Margaret Randolph in memory of her late husband Charles who died in 1878. Charles made his living as an engineer and shipbuilder, starting his own engineering firm in 1834 and he eventually retired in 1868. Randolph was passionate about education - bequeathing £250 Stirling Town Council for the annual purchase of a gold medal to be presented to Stirling's best scholar, and £60,000 to Glasgow University (the equivalent of £6.4 million today).

The scene depicted is the wedding at Cana, where Christ turned water into w**e. The window was created by W. & J. Keir of Glasgow.
