FIRST WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT: The Greatest Showman 🎪✨

Joining us for West End Week 2026 (10th - 14th August 2026) for a FULL OUT few days of WEST END MASTERCLASSES. First up is the spectacular new musical sensation: The Greatest Showman!

Fresh from its world premiere in Bristol, this exciting stage adaptation brings the magic of the beloved hit film to life with unforgettable music, dazzling performances and a powerful story about ambition, imagination and celebrating what makes us unique.

Inspired by the story of P.T. Barnum, students will step into a world of wonder as they explore iconic songs, dynamic choreography and larger-than-life characters in this uplifting musical adventure.

In this high-energy workshop, students will develop singing, acting and movement skills inspired by this spectacular new production - building confidence, creativity and essential performance skills in true West End style.

Established in 2012, we have supported hundreds of young performers, many of whom have gone on to further training and careers in the industry.

In partnership with The Actor’s Training Academy, participants receive structured, high-quality coaching in a supportive and inclusive environment, combining West End masterclasses with focused performance development.

This summer, West End Week returns to Ipswich with WEST END masterclasses, bringing professional training and industry insight to Suffolk once again.

Led by industry professional Louis Stockil, this session offered a unique insight into performing in one of the most visually spectacular and physically demanding shows in musical theatre! Louis is a versatile musical theatre performer with an exciting international career across stage and tour.

A graduate of Arts Educational Schools London, Louis has built an impressive portfolio of professional credits spanning the UK and worldwide productions.

His stage credits include:

• Barnum UK Tour (Ensemble & understudy Tom Thumb)
• Oliver! (Leicester Curve – Noah Claypole)
• MAMMA MIA! (Pepper)

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG MASTERCLASS with Resident Choreographer and Swing, Anthony Whiteman (he/him) 🌟

We are thrilled to introduce the incredible Anthony - a creative force whose career spans the West End stage, international choreography, and now the next generation of performer training.

A highly respected freelance creative practitioner and educational leader, Anthony currently serves as Vice Principal, Creative Course Director, and Head of Musical Theatre at romtheatrearts. He has further cemented his expertise by earning his MA in Dance Education from University for the Creative Arts.

Before stepping into leadership, Anthony enjoyed a successful performing career in the West End, with standout credits including:
• Billy Elliot the Musical (Victoria Palace Theatre)
• The Wizard of Oz (London Palladium)
• White Christmas (Dominion Theatre)
• …alongside numerous UK touring productions

But Anthony’s impact extends far beyond performance. As a director, his work has been seen across London and major festivals, including:
• Chicago
• Bad Girls
• Kids of the West End
• The Rat Pack
…and many more exciting projects

As a choreographer, Anthony’s extensive and diverse credits span the UK and internationally, including:
