Sunderland People's Assembly
The Sunderland People’s Assembly is a democratic, non-partisan forum created to give the people of Sunderland a real voice on the issues that matter most to them. Born out of a deep need for representation and renewal, the Assembly stands as a people’s institution independent from party politics and driven by local concerns.
In response to years of political neglect and social decline, the Assembly exists to challenge apathy and disillusionment by empowering residents to engage, speak out, and shape the future of their city. It is a space for open discussion, collective action, and genuine community-led change.
