⚠️ Temporary traffic lights are currently causing significant delays on both Monmouth Drive and Jockey Road.

📍 On Jockey Road, the lights are around Wakefield Close.

📸 THROWBACK — 9 YEARS AGO!

Nine years ago, a young Charlotte Fieldhouse was at Birmingham’s Council House as part of the very first Sutton Coldfield Youth Council.

Fast forward nine years, and that commitment to giving young people a voice is still going strong.

📅 28 March 2023: At a full meeting of Sutton Coldfield Town Council, Charlotte asked whether there had been any progress towards establishing a Youth Panel.

📅 14 July 2026: At the Amenities & Leisure Committee, Cllr Fieldhouse nominated herself to champion and support the work of the Sutton Coldfield Youth Panel.

From being part of the very first Youth Council to now helping champion the next generation of young people in Sutton Coldfield — some things really do come full circle.

Nine years on, and the commitment to making sure young people have a voice in their community remains just as strong.
