Carshalton EcoFair 2026 is coming!

Looking for a brilliant day out that brings together music, food, creativity, community and sustainability? Put Bank Holiday Monday 31 August in your diary!

📍 Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road, Carshalton, SM5 3DD
🕥 10.30am–8pm

Carshalton EcoFair promises a packed day with something for everyone:

🎶 3 solar-powered music stages with live performances throughout the day
🌱 120+ stalls featuring environmental organisations, community groups, local charities, artisan crafts and sustainable products
🍴 A food village with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family activities, demonstrations and hands-on experiences
🍺 A licensed bar to relax and enjoy the entertainment
🌿 Inspiration around sustainability, gardening, wildlife and local food
🚌 A free electric shuttle bus to make getting there easy

And the best bit? It’s a community event run entirely by volunteers, with all performers and many others giving their time to make the day happen. The EcoFair is also a fundraising event supporting EcoLocal, so your admission and donations help keep this work going.

🫟Carshalton Artists Open Studios 2026🫟

What a fantastic two weekends of creativity, connection and community!

As Carshalton Artists Open Studios (CAOS) celebrated its 10th anniversary, nearly 80 artists opened their studios and exhibition spaces across 29 locations, welcoming visitors from near and far to explore the incredible talent our local creative community has to offer.

From painting, ceramics and printmaking to textiles, photography and sculpture, it was inspiring to see so many people discovering new artists, supporting local creativity and enjoying conversations with the makers behind the work.

A huge congratulations to everyone who made CAOS 2026 such a success, especially the artists, volunteers, organisers and the many visitors who followed the trail over both weekends.

Here’s to another wonderful decade of celebrating creativity in Carshalton! ✨

What a wonderful evening! ✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Summer Serenade, our Arts Network Sutton Gala Concert, as part of this year’s .

It was a joy to celebrate the incredible breadth of performing arts in our borough, with an inspiring programme of music, dance, storytelling and spoken word performed by our talented ANS members. All in the stunning All Saints Church in Carshalton.
We were also delighted to showcase the watercolours exhibition by artist Anna Virabyan , adding a visual arts element to the evening.

✨ Performer Spotlight: Maggie Cooper 🎶

We are delighted to introduce mezzo-soprano Maggie Cooper, one of the professional performers appearing in the Arts Network Sutton Gala Concert as part of this year’s 🌿

Maggie trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on scholarship and has been praised for her captivating and powerful performances.

has performed at venues including St Martin-in-the-Fields, St John’s Smith Square and Kings Place.
The Times described her as ‘captivating..naive and delicate…she delivers with searing power and passion’.

In 2017, Maggie co-founded Carshalton Opera with her husband Matt, with a mission to bring professional opera to audiences of all ages and inspire wider community engagement with the arts.

✨ “I am most looking forward to collaborating with local artists for the gala. The concert includes everything from well-known classical music to new works by local composers, alongside dance and spoken word – there really is something for everyone.”

On being part of ANS, Maggie says:
✨ “Being a member of ANS opens up networking possibilities across the local arts scene, particularly for those keen to make a difference to community access to the arts.”

✨ Performer Spotlight: Chris Wood 🎼

We are delighted to introduce composer, lyricist and writer Chris Wood, one of the professional performing artists featured in the Arts Network Sutton Gala Concert as part of this year’s 🌿

Chris has composed across a wide range of genres including rock opera, chamber opera, orchestral and choral music. His work has been performed by ensembles including the London Mozart Players, Fine Arts Sinfonia, Croydon Philharmonic Choir and Carshalton Choral Society.

✨ “I’m particularly looking forward to extending my close working relationship with the excellent Maggie Cooper – and also seeing and hearing more of the very varied talents we have here in Sutton.”

✨ Performer Spotlight: Enrica Sciandrone 🎶

We are delighted to introduce composer, pianist and orchestrator Enrica Sciandrone, one of the professional performing artists featured in the Arts Network Sutton Gala Concert as part of this year’s 🎶🎼

Enrica is an award-winning composer for screen and concert music, orchestrator and Professor in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music in London.

Her work spans film, television and concert music, with credits including Amazon Prime’s Nautilus, ITV’s The Winter King, Sky’s A Discovery of Witches and Emmy-nominated animation Little Bird.

✨ “I look forward to sharing the joy of music with the community. I hope to get more collaborations and concert opportunities to play and write new music.”

Speaking about Arts Network Sutton, Enrica says:

“What’s great about being an ANS member is the sense of belonging and the comforting feeling that there are other artists around aiming at sharing their love for art with each other and with the community.”
