It was a team effort. With Cllr Keith Williams - Shaw Swindon and Cllr Suresh Gattapur - Westlea & Shaw, Swindon.

During the Council meeting on Friday, in addition to Leader Gary Sumner, Dy Leader Cllr Jake Chandler - St Andrews
We had Caninet roles and different committees.

We also had 3 member Community Champion Responsibility.

Cllr Leanne Stevenson takes on Armed Forces Champion.

Cllr Alex Hughes : Mental Health Champion.

I will be taking on on the Community Champion role for : Stopping Violence against Women and Girls.

Alongside these responsibilities the councillors will serve on different committees and work on issues that matter.
Gratitude to each and everyone for their trust.

The Team Conservatives is the only team that lives in the ward and the Proof is there that we are the only team that have proudly shared our address.
Look closely at the Ballot Paper on 7th May.
Suresh, Nandini and Keith have shared their address. Facts don’t lie.

I'm aware that a dubious claim is being made: that a vote for Labour is the only solution to prevent Reform winning Shaw and Westlea. There are many polls, so in the interest of balance I thought I should share this view from Britain.Votes.Now (below) and encourage Labour, LibDem and Green voters to lend the Conservatives their support locally. It is the surest way to suceed against what is a local election being fought on national policies (I'm sure you have all seen Reform's latest announcement on how they will treat areas who do not vote for them in the next General Election).

Suresh, Nandinin and I all live in the Ward, a fact you can check when you see your ballot paper. I would like to thank the many people we have spoken to on the doorstep over the past year for sharing their views and asking us questions, and hope to be able to represent you all for the next four years.
