🎄 We Need Your Help! 🎄
Our Christmas Dinner is proving really popular this year and that’s absolutely fantastic! ❤️ The only challenge we’re facing is transport. Due to new regulations, we’re unfortunately not able to collect people who would truly benefit from joining us on Christmas Day.
We would love to find someone, a local group, or a business in our community who is DBS-checked and could volunteer to help pick up guests and take them home afterwards.
If you or someone you know could help or if you can simply share this post it would make a world of difference. 🌟
Let’s bring people together this Christmas. No one should miss out on community, company, and a warm Christmas dinner.

🎄 Christmas Day Volunteer Update 🎄
We are overwhelmed by the amazing response to our call for Christmas Day volunteers! ❤️
Thanks to your generosity, we have now reached full capacity for volunteer support this Christmas. We just have a couple of transport offers to finalise, but all other roles are now filled.
A huge thank you to everyone who stepped forward so quickly — your kindness makes a real difference. 🙏
Although our Christmas Day team is now complete, we are always looking for volunteers throughout the year. If you’d like to get involved with The Salvation Army Oakengates beyond the festive season, we’d love to hear from you.
