After running the quiz nights since 2001 and volunteering at all events and being a a trustee since 2020 and chair for 1.5 years. For personal reasons I stood down from East Williamston community and hall association today.

Good luck to the trustees and volunteers for the future.

There are a number of trustees places available so please if you are able to, join the committee and keep the hall going.

Reports have been received of a traffic collision on the A477 Westbound at Broadmoor, between the A477 Kilgetty roundabout and Broadmoor, near the cross-roads traffic lights.

A really important message from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

🚒 All West Wales Fire Stations are recognised as Safe Havens.

This means that anyone experiencing:
• Domestic abuse
• Feeling unsafe or threatened
• Young people in distress or vulnerable situations
• Or anyone needing immediate safety and support

can seek refuge at their local fire station while help is arranged through the appropriate services, whether that be the police, parents, domestic abuse support services, or other emergency support organisations.

Importantly, even if a station is not staffed 24/7, you can still call 999 and the station can be opened remotely to provide a place of safety while trained fire crews make their way to you.

This is one of those pieces of information that could make a real difference to someone one day, so please consider sharing this post and helping spread awareness throughout our communities. You never know who may need it.

Huge thanks to Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service for highlighting this important initiative and for the incredible work they continue to do to keep people safe.

East Williamston Community and Hall Assoxiation AGM will take place on Monday 1st June 2026 at 7:30pm pm in East Williamston Community Hall

We hold two regular fundraising events each month. They are the fun quiz nights and our cash bingo nights.

Monthly fun quiz nights

On the second Saturday of each month. We have different quizmasters every month so each month is a different format and style.

Doors and bar open at 7:30pm. Quiz starts at 8pm.

If you would like to be one of our quizmasters please email your name, contact number and which month you would like to do to [email protected]

Cash Bingo Nights

On 4th Saturday of each month we hold our cash bingo nights.
Doors open 6:30pm - Eyes Down 7pm

All entry money is used as prizes so the more people that come the bigger the prizes are!

Because of licensing laws our cash bingos are over 18s only.

Tomorrow night (Friday 17th April) is St Elidyr's Church, East Williamston famous pudding tasting evening!

Come along to East Williamston Community Hall when the doors open at 6:30pm to taste an amazing array of puddings. Three tastes for £7.50 plus you can buy more if you need to! Children are £3.50.

No booking needed just pay on the door.

St Elidyr's Church, East Williamston are holding one of their famous pudding tasting evenings again on the 17th April in East Williamston Community Hall.

Doors open 6:30pm adults £7.50 children £3.50 That includes 3 x “tastes” of the many puddings available. More tastes can be purchased on the the night.

Pay on the door no advance tickets.

Did you know we do a special rate in the hall for daytime children’s parties? You get the 4 hours for the party as well as 30 minutes before to set up and 30 minutes at the end to clean up. You get full use of the hall as well as basic use of the kitchen which includes the use of a kettle and the sink to wash up.
