The Thetford Neighbourhood Board has confirmed at its latest board meeting that Government approval of the town's Regeneration Plan means that the first tranche of the £20 million of Pride in Place investment is secured - a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform Thetford over the next decade.

🎉 Huge congratulations to our Chair, Jo Pearson, who has been appointed High Sheriff of Norfolk!
We're absolutely delighted for Jo — and relieved to confirm this prestigious role sits entirely alongside his work as Chair of forThetford. You won't be losing him!

As High Sheriff, Jo will be travelling right across Norfolk — and we have a feeling Thetford is going to come up in conversation rather a lot. Consider it unofficial tourism promotion at the highest level. 😄
