🚨🌾 RURAL CRIME ALERT – SOUTH DERBYSHIRE & ASHBOURNE 🌾🚨
Sadly, the South of Derbyshire and Ashbourne areas are currently experiencing a series of thefts and break-ins targeting farms, outbuildings, and rural properties.

⚠️ Please remain vigilant and take steps to secure your property to deter criminals.

🚜 Etwall (14/06/26, 13:45–16:00)

3 Kubota tractors stolen while owner briefly left site. One later recovered – 2 still outstanding.

🚐 Hatton Fields (20/06/26, 03:00–03:27)

Offenders cut through a gate chain to access a storage site and steal a white Bailey Phoenix 640 Plus caravan.

🚧 Foston (22–24/06/26)

Offenders entered site and stole a 9-tonne dumper truck.

Offenders gained access to farmland, cutting through bushes and stealing two flatbed trailers.

Offenders removed locks from a container and broke into a garage attached to a house. No attempt made to enter the main property. Nothing stolen.

β˜€οΈ REMINDER - Early bin collection times
Due to the forecasted heatwave, our waste & recycling crews will be starting collections earlier than usual this week.

Collections will begin at 6:00am from today onwards, so please make sure your bin is out the night before or before 6.00am.
