The ReUse Shop at Kings Road Reuse and Recycling Centre in Chingford London Borough of Waltham Forest is now open 7️⃣ days a week!

Yes, that's right. Monday to Sunday from 9am-4pm.

The ReUse Shop sells preloved items diverted from north London's reuse & recycling centres, giving them a new home and saving them from waste ↪️ 🗑️

They divert about 7 tonnes of items from the waste stream each month, prioritising and promoting the .

Did you know an afternoon of barbecuing could have a large environmental impact? A typical summer barbecue for four people is responsible for more greenhouse gases than an 80-mile car journey 😱

Follow our top tips for hosting a sustainable this summer:

♨️ Go for a reusable barbecue instead of a disposable one. A basic, reusable barbecue can set you back as little as £15!
♨️ Ditch the single-use tableware! Opt for reusable cutlery and plates instead.
♨️ Check what you have in your cupboard, fridge and freezer before forking out more money for food!
♨️ Freeze your leftovers – you can tuck into cooked dishes months after the event.
