Since September 2022 Shipley Town Council has been running a Citizen's Jury on the climate, which will run until the end of November. It will provide a set of recommendations to Shipley Town Council about what Shipley can do to address the climate emergency. This is partly thanks to funding from the National Lottery and involves 25 local people who have been chosen to represent Shipley, with efforts made to make this group truly representative of Shipley's population.
This page will document what happens in these meetings, the talks given, and the conclusions come to, mainly through providing links to the Youtube channel (link below to shipleycitizensjury) on which all the talks from experts in each area will be uploaded, as well as the final recommendations.
