⚠ A Yellow weather warning has been issued within the Peak District for Friday 23 October due to the impact of Storm Austen. High winds are also expected over the weekend…

⚠️ We have issued an Amber Wind Warning as Storm Austen approaches.

The storm is expected to bring a spell of very strong winds and heavy rain across southern areas of the UK late on Thursday and into Friday, with the greatest risk of disruption across southwest England. Gusts could reach 60-70mph in some places.

First trad lead! Wahoo!

It’s a big moment with lots to think about: movement skills, placement and judgement of trad protection, rope work and various belaying techniques (to name a few). Like we said - loads to think about!

Well done to these two who climbed well and built beautiful bombproof belays at the top. We wish them many wonderful trad climbing adventures in the future!
