1 and 5 Company, 3 Royal Anglian took part in Flood Barrier Training at Lowestoft. The Barrier is constructed when there is imminent treat of Coastal Flooding. The training was aimed at forging stronger alliances with Local Authorities.

Day 2 of Ex Roman Star Recce (2) in “Pian dell’Alpe” which will be the Mountain Warfare training location. Training will be conducted by the Italian 3rd Mountain Regiment who will be embedded into Platoons and include Recce Patrols, Securing Areas and Harbours. The area will also be used FTX phase.

4 (Lincolnshire) Company were recently visited, at Grimsby Army Reserve Centre, by Chris Blacksell, the Chief Fire Officer of Humberside Fire and Rescue Service. He showed a huge interest in the training and other activities undertaken by the Company and presented a plaque at the end of his visit.

Members of 3 R ANGLIAN took part in the Army Reserve Operational Shooting Competition at Bisley during the 22 to 24 June 2018. The team came 9th out of 21 teams, which is the highest position for many years. 2Lt Mike Musker and CSgt Duncan Nash achieved positions in the Top 50 which entitles them to wear Bisley Top 50 insignia.
Many congratulations to the whole team.
