Martin Connors [14.03.1977] of No fixed Abode
Michael Connors [16.09.1991] of Stanbridge Road, Billington.
Larry Connors [17.10.1993] of No fixed Abode, all pleaded guilty to burglary at Isleworth Crown Court on 30, July was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment.
Nora O’Brien [23.10.1994] of No fixed Abode, pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods and was sentence to 4 months

In November 2019, officers from the West Area Pro-Active CID with the assistance of the Specialist Crime Command targeted a group of individuals that had travelled from the Republic of Ireland intent on carrying out burglaries across the England. The groups were identified by personnel attached the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in the Garda Síochána.
They had travelled to the Heathrow area armed with GPS tracking devices that would be used to target their victims.

Officers continued to pursue the group as they fled to the Luton area where they went on to target the owners of a successful restaurant business. They were tracked down, arrested and the property was recovered.

Detective Inspector Elly Maggs, West Area Pro-active CID said, “This investigation is a shining example of international cross border collaboration between West Area Proactive CID, Specialist Crime, Met Intelligence, Northumbria Police and our colleagues from Garda Siochana in the Republic of Ireland. I am extremely proud of their achievements and grateful that this group are now safely behind bars. We will continue to work together, with the public and our partners to keep the public safe from harm.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Angela Willis, head of bureau at the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau said
‘The pursuit of criminals across borders is key to achieving success at an international level in targeting organised crime groups. This case is a perfect example of how success can be achieved in targeting organised crime groups operating at an international level’.

This has been granted by Inspector Ballard and is in place from 1400 hours on 7 August 2020 until 1359 hours on 9 August 2020
Section 35 of the Antisocial Behaviour, Police and Crime Act 2014
allows a police officer of at least the rank of Inspector to authorise a dispersal zone for up to 48 hours. Once authorised, a constable in uniform may, under circumstances, direct a person to leave the area, in whole or in part, and direct the person not to return for up to 48 hours.

Three years for drug dealer!

Hashim Wilson-Decoteau, 30 [19/10/1989] of no fixed abode was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on 17/07/20 to 3 years and 1 month in prison for possession with intend to supply class A drugs.

On 29/08/2019 West Area Proactive unit officers were patrolling Uxbridge. At about 4.20pm they stopped a black Mercedes. The driver, Hashim, stopped the car and a package fell from his shorts. He picked it up and put it into his mouth. Officers reacted quickly to remove the package from his mouth ensuring his safety.

The package was found to contain 32 wraps of crack cocaine. Hashim was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and bailed whilst enquiries continued.

On 26/05/2020, officers from the West Area Violence Suppression Unit were on patrol in Northolt area when they saw a black Mercedes drive past their police vehicle. The vehicle turned off but was found abandoned at the side of the road with Hashim quickly walking away. He was searched and inside the vehicle was a quantity of individually wrapped white packages. These were later found to contain crack cocaine and Hashim was again arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Working with the West Area’s Drugs Focus Desk, Pc Jelley and Pc Rice put together a case leading to Hashim being charged & remanded in custody.

Due to the overwhelming evidence against Hashim he pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity and was sentenced to 3yrs and 1 month imprisonment for both matters.

Sergeant Ed Ade of the West Area Drug Focus Desk said - “The creation of the Drugs Focus Desk in the West Area has led to a significant improvement in investigations around drug supply and this case shows how joint working with other units has helped to secure a lengthy conviction thanks to the overwhelming evidence presented. We will continue to assist officers in their drug supply investigations, disrupting those intent on supplying drugs in the West Area”

A teenager who fatally stabbed an 18-year-old at a knife awareness course in Hillingdon has been convicted of murder.

Vladimir Nachev, 18 (24.07.02) of West End Lane, Hayes, was convicted by a jury after a three-week trial at Isleworth Crown Court.

He was also found guilty of wounding with intent against another teenager during the same incident. Nachev will be sentenced on 7 September.

The court heard that police were called to the youth offending service in Hillingdon Civic Centre on 7 November last year after 18-year-old Hakim Sillah was stabbed.

Hakim, who was stabbed twice in the chest, was given emergency treatment at the scene by paramedics but died in hospital later that day.

Nachev left the scene immediately after the attack and hid the 25cm long ‘Rambo’ style knife in woodland near his home address.

He was arrested shortly afterwards and taken into custody.

04/08/2020

Detectives investigating the murder of Alexander Kareem, 20, who was found suffering from gunshot wounds on Askew Road, Shepherds Bush on Monday, 8 June have made seven arrests.

All seven, who were aged 16 to 35 years, were arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, 4 August on suspicion of the murder of Alexander Kareem. They are:

[A] A 24-year-old man from Brent

[B] An 18-year-old man from Ealing

[C] A-23-year-old man from Ealing

[D] A-20-year-old man from Hounslow

[E] A-16-year-old boy from Ealing

[F] A 20-year-old man from Ealing

[G] A 35-year-old woman from Hounslow

All seven were taken into custody at London police stations where they remain at this time.

This follows an extensive investigation, which has seen hours of CCTV poured over to find the route taken by a white Range Rover which officers believe to be involved in the shooting.

Alexander had just been to the convenience store and was riding a scooter to a friend’s address when he was shot.

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, Specialist Crime Team, who leads the investigation said: “This is a significant development in the investigation, however we will not be complacent. We will continue to work hard to make sure those responsible are brought to justice. I believe this murder to have been a case of mistaken identity, perpetrated recklessly and with no regard whatsoever for human life.

“Alexander’s death is a tragic reminder that carrying a gun has devastating consequences, I urge anyone with information to come forward and speak with us.”

Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101, Tweet @MetCC or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit Crimestoppers_uk.org.”
