Don't forget our first workshop is TOMORROW 1-2pm in Lec 106!

David Riley will be hosting the session; an award-winning entrepreneur who built a profitable, multi-million pound, national company from next-to-nothing.

The first session focuses on public speaking: a skill that comes in handy for presentations and pitches, whilst also being applicable to how you present yourself in a professional context such as meetings.

It's only an hour long and will help you learn four key skills for business and entrepreneurship.

If you complete all four sessions you will receive a certificate signed by David Riley stating that you completed the course; great for your CV!

I'm excited to announce our first big event of the year; Traders Empire are presenting Profit from the Financial Markets!

This is the perfect event to learn the fundamentals of the financial markets, how to make money from the comfort of your home on your phone, and much more.

We will be inviting Faizan Yasin, a current student at Brunel who is also part of Traders Empire, to share his knowledge as part of this two hour event.

Some other topics that will be included:
• What is the forex market and its history?
• How does the forex markets work for both the individual and large financial institutions?
• The logistics and operations of how the individual can trade (brokers and platforms)
• Basic technical analysis and use of indicators
• Q&A

Along with the Q&A session at the end of the event, there will also be the opportunity to network with both other students at the event and Fazian himself.
