If you have concerns about noise on the highways, these should be reported directly to Cornwall Council:
https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment/environmental-protection/noise/

The Parish Council is responsible only for addressing anti-social behaviour on land under its control. Our staff are aware of today's instance of loud music on the beach, and those involved have been spoken to.

What is noise pollution, how to report noise nuisance and how the Council's Environmental Protection team can support you.

The Parish Council has a Councillor Vacancy. Please see the website for further details!

The Parish Council currently has a vacancy on the council and are inviting enthusiastic, community-minded individuals to apply. You don’t need to be a politician—just someone who listens, cares, and is willing to get involved.

UPDATE: Following a meeting of Cornwall Council today, please note the following decisions made regarding re-introducing glyphosate.

Recognise that the decision to reintroduce chemical w**d treatment using glyphosate represents a significant policy reversal with ecological, public health and democratic implications for communities across Cornwall.

Pause the commencement of chemical w**d treatment currently scheduled for May 2026 until a meaningful public consultation process has been completed.

Recognise the wholly inadequate three week opt out window provided to parish and town councils which included Easter and commits to extending this to 30 days after the public consultation results have been published.

Give town/parish councils more clarity on the minimum required standards of the urban network.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening of the Droskyn Memorial Shelter. It meant so much to see so many people come together, with some travelling from far away.

It was more than an opening - it was a time of reflection, remembrance, and connection. Together, we honoured loved ones, shared stories, and created a space that will stand as a lasting tribute to those we hold dear.

The Parish Council hopes this shelter will offer comfort, peace, and a place for quiet reflection for many years to come.

With heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you 💛
