One of my summer highlights from the garden was meeting the Puss Moth caterpillar! Complete with big, dramatic eyespots and twin tail-like flagellae to wave in warning, it can spray formic acid from its mouth to deter attackers.

Nature never ceases to amaze. 🐛✨
