Raunds Town Council is delighted to invite you to our annual Summer Picnic! Pack up your blankets, gather your family and friends, and join us for an afternoon of community fun.

Here is everything you need to know about this year’s event:

⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Where: Bassfords Recreation Ground, Marshalls Road

We have plenty lined up for you, including:
🍿 FREE Popcorn
🍓 FREE Strawberries & Cream
🏰 Inflatables & Children's Entertainment
🎵 Live Music from Joyrider and James Reynolds to set the perfect summer vibe

🍔 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 & 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸
While you are encouraged to bring your own picnic and blanket, there will also be a variety of food and drink stalls available on-site to enjoy!

🚗 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Event parking will be available at Millfield (NN9 6HD)

Football fever is coming to the Town Square! ⚽️ Join us this Saturday for the Raunds Saturday Market as we celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It’s going to be a brilliant morning for the whole family, packed with local shopping, incredible entertainment, and free activities!

• 🦁 Mascot Meet & Greet: Come say hello and grab a photo with our football-loving lion mascot!
• ⚽ Football Freestyler: Prepare to be amazed by incredible football tricks and skills.
• 🎨 Crafts for Kids: The little ones can get creative and Make Your Own England Flag Windmill to take home.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate one year of Raunds skate park at Saturday’s Skate Jam - whether you were skating, scootering, BMX riding or cheering others on from the sidelines.

These events are about bringing people together, building confidence and giving everyone a chance to learn from each other and have fun. Creating these opportunities is something we’re proud to support.

We’d like to give a special shout-out to Avery UK for kindly donating the stickers - they were a big hit on the day and it was great to see so many people picking their favourites and taking a piece of the event home with them!
