Today, Brent Council Deputy Leader Cllr Dr Gwen Grahl has written to Woodfield School expressing serious concern about proposals to use fire and rehire against teaching assistants. She has urged the school to return to meaningful negotiations with the NEU and find a fair resolution that supports staff, pupils and families.

I hope you are enjoying the warm weather, staying hydrated, and taking care in the sunshine.

During the summer months, our waste collection teams will be starting their rounds earlier in the morning in anticipation of higher temperatures and to support the wellbeing of our frontline staff.

To help us maintain an efficient and timely service, please ensure your bins are placed in the correct location and are ready for collection in advance.
