I have not been elected in the 2026 Local Government Elections however I would like to thank all the people who supported me along my political journey. I appreciate every single person who took time to interact with me.

When I consider the number of times Mr Nigel Farage went up for election before he was successful. I was able to get 817 votes on my first attempt despite my health challenges. My learning curve was steep and I enjoyed the journey.

Firstly, I thank God for everything, then I want to thank my GP for helping me manage my health and well-being optimally. After all, health is our wealth. My daughter, my family and my friends near and far thanks for words of all your words of .

Finally, I am grateful to the Labour Party, especially MP Sarah Coombes and her team who had confidence in me as a candidate. I also was truly inspired by all residents in the ward , your conversations and lived experiences were my driving force.

Sorry, I would not be able to represent you as a councillor this time.

Congratulations to my all my Labour Party Colleagues who have been successful. To my fellow candidates who like me, were not elected I wish you well in all your future endeavours. Best wishes to the victorious Reform Party as they begin their journey in in leading the Sandwell Council.
Thank you,
Stephanie Hyacinth Thomas ###

I thank God for his grace and mercy . From being unemployed disabled and marginalised in 2012 to be given an opportunity to represent others and have a voice in 2026. This could happen under a Labour Party Government . VOTE LABOUR

In 2012 I was left to struggle with back and shoulders pain I finally had neurosurgery after waiting for one year .I was not redeployed. I became unemployed. For 16 years I have done unpaid voluntary work in my community with many organisations including the LABOUR PARTY .

Please vote the Labour on May 7 th for your 3 Labour Candidates in Charlemont and Grovevale and by extension all over the UK. Help me to use my lived experiences as a matured, disabled , migrant ,healthcare professional , who became homeless, after paying into the system .Under the Tories I was forced to go on benefits and faced abuse after Brexit.

Remember there is life after the elections . I think carefully and exercise your franchise. Vote the LABOUR PARTY for the local government elections to prevent CHAOS! Reform track record in local government is questionable, and so are the policies of the Green and Liberal Democrat’s. Labour has a plan, together we can make the UK 🇬🇧 a better place in terms of health and social care for all . The voice of people in the community is the voice of GOD!
