Groves Hall Set in the beautiful Esk Valley, just two miles from Whitby.We offer select bed and breakfast plus Salmon and Sea Trout fishing on River Esk, in season.

This accommodation is for two people, so perfect for those who wish to stay away from crowds. The East Wing of the house has its own front door, large sitting room on the ground floor with open log fire. The large en-suite twin bedroom on the first floor overlooks the garden. There is a separate mezzanine to have breakfast brought up and make drinks during your stay.

Numi and Charles are amazing hosts. The house and grounds are beautiful, we were immediately made to feel so welcome. The apartment has everything you need, a wonderful lounge room, en suite twin room with super comfy big beds and additional downstairs toilet. Numi made absolutely FANTASTICALLY delicious breakfasts to order which we were lucky enough to enjoy both in and outside (weather dependant) but we loved both locations. The grounds are just stunning. Very easy location to find and parking. Very close to Whitby, Numi and Charles also have some excellent recommendations on dining / things to do which we listened to and loved 😊

Great all around
We received a very warm welcome from the hosts and were made to feel at home, nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was comfortable, inviting, and clean, and we particularly enjoyed having access to a separate living room for our own personal use.. Hosts were attentive and interested in making our stay special. Very peaceful setting and ideally located to explore Whitby and the surrounding area. Great all-around

A unique stay with wonderful hosts in a gorgeous setting.
The hosts, Numi and Charles were so welcoming and lovely people who couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts were fantastic with lots of choice and very well cooked, served on a lovely eclectic mix of crockery. The weather allowed us to eat at the table outside in the extensive gorgeous gardens. The property is unique and the internal decoration gave endless fascination.
