Well done to everyone who has started their Summer Reading Challenge so far 📚
Lots of you have already read your first book, and some people have already finished all 6!
We are loving hearing about all the wonderful stories you are exploring and the awesome facts that you are learning 😊

If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late, you have until Saturday 12 September to finish the challenge so why not pop and see us to get started.
It's completely free to join and you will receive stickers for each book you read, as well as an amazing medal, certificate and a prize draw entry for completing 6 books.
Remember, they can be any books you'd like, they don't have to be long chapter books. You can even listen to an audiobook too.

Learn about Dorset's wonderful heathland wildlife, and enjoy a fun animal craft and badge to take home.
Free, drop-in event.
Event suitable for all ages. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Wow! What a fun session of 'Animal Sounds' crafts and activities at Corfe Mullen Library this afternoon 🐸
Thank you Jennie from Upton Country Park, you were definitely a big hit ☺️

Children learnt about all the different types of animal sounds and calls. They also created some fantastic frogs and bees to take home. Well done to everyone who took part!
