🙋‍♀️Welcome to shelf indulgence, where Corfe Mullen library staff share news, views and recommendations to inspire your next read!
It’s 12 years since Liane Moriarty’s Big Little Lies was published, but now we finally have a sequel. Big Little Truths. This time Madeleine, Jane and Celeste are dealing with teenage offspring and readers can expect some twisty goings on which will hopefully keep us all guessing until the end! Moriarty has written some great stories in the meantime (Apples never fall, Nine perfect strangers), focusing on the intricacies of modern life, relationships and featuring a wide cast of characters.
Order now on Libraries West or Borrowbox.

📚 The votes are in! 📚

As part of the National Year of Reading, we asked our younger library customers to vote for their favourite children's author in September.

🥇 Winner: Julia Donaldson
🥈 Runners-up: Jamie Smart and Tom Fletcher

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and cast their vote. It's wonderful to see so much enthusiasm for reading and storytelling!

Books by all three of these fantastic authors are available to borrow from the library, and many more titles can be ordered through LibrariesWest.
