Buying or selling during lockdown? This is what we know so far...
 
* The good news is, that you are free to move home 😊

* Be warned though that the government has advised that it may become necessary to pause all home moves locally or nationally

* As you’d expect you will see the implementation of Covid-19 safety rules: 

- Virtual viewings where possible
- Sellers vacating their property during viewings
- No more than two households inside the property at one time during a viewing
- Open house viewings are not allowed
- Allow time between viewings to clean
- Ensuring properties are thoroughly cleaned before someone else moves

* For us individually we should wear a facemask, avoid touching surfaces, sanitize frequently and maintain 2m distance 

* Deep in the process...expect delays and be flexible.  Someone in your chain may have symptoms or have COVID and need to self-isolate, there may also be a sudden change in circumstances that could undermine your sale or a sale in your chain.  Your solicitor will be the best place to advise you and also make sure that any contracts or agreements are as flexible as possible to accommodate this risk.

Moving home is stressful without COVID, so try to take each day as it comes and let’s all do our bit so we can keep buying and selling, and remember, stay safe ❤

It’s been about the staycation this year...we’ve just had a fab week in Dartmouth! If you're planning to go away but are in full on house search mode, you might feel a little anxious that you will miss out on that perfect house. With technology these days you can easily stay in touch with what's going on back home, so try to get away if you can...it’s good for the soul! If you are mid-purchase though, it’s probably best to stay local so you can be on hand to answer questions, sign papers etc to help keep your house purchase timeframes on track

I LOVE this part of town, in and around Wi******er College. These school grounds are absolutely stunning and incredibly inspiring if you are a student here. Definitely harry potter-esque 🧙‍♀️ , in fact some of the buildings may look familiar to HP fans as two of them were actually used in the films (well...part of the buildings, the tops were then transposed onto other buildings). Sn**ch a home around these parts of Wi******er and it will be something very special 🌟 ******ercollege &gwells ******er @ Wi******er College
