Hollesley Youth Club will be starting back this week on Wednesday 9th September.

We are excited to invite year 5 and year 6 children to join us this year.

Rendlesham Youth Club is moving!

Just42 are excited to announce that, from September, we will be running the Rendlesham Youth Club from St Felix Church, Rendlesham.

This new venue will give us access to additional facilities, including the kitchen, which means we’ll be able to run activities such as cooking evenings. By working alongside the local church, we’re also able to continue reaching as many young people in the Rendlesham community as possible.

There are some slight changes to the club timings, so please take note:

Year 6 – Junior Youth Club
3:15pm – 4:45pm

Year 7–11 – Senior Youth Club
4:00pm – 5:30pm

We’re really excited to see everyone back in September and to begin this new chapter at St Felix Church!

The start date for September will be posted in due course.

Compass Mentoring & Schools Work Coordinator - Maternity Cover

Do you have a heart for supporting young people and helping them thrive?

Just42 is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Compass Mentoring & Schools Work Coordinator to join our team. This exciting role is based at Farlingaye High School and involves coordinating our one-to-one mentoring programme, supporting volunteer mentors, delivering schools work, and helping young people navigate the challenges of secondary school.

We're looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for working with young people.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player.
• Can organise and coordinate volunteers and projects.
• Shares our Christian ethos and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.

It’s been an amazing year, and we’re so grateful to have been running the youth clubs in Rendlesham.

You may be aware that we have now reached the end of the funding generously provided by Rendlesham Parish Council, who have supported the youth club on a trial basis.

Although this funding has now come to an end, we’re pleased to let you know that the youth clubs will continue to run from September. We may need to change some of the practicalities, but please be assured that we recognise the importance of providing a youth club for local young people and we remain committed to supporting the young people of Rendlesham.

To help make this possible, we will be seeking new sources of funding. If you know of any local organisations, businesses, or grant opportunities that may be willing to support the youth clubs, we would love to hear from you. Every recommendation could make a real difference.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us run the clubs. If you are interested in getting involved or know someone that might, please get in touch, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We hope you all have a fantastic summer, we’ll be in touch before the clubs reopen in September to let you know all the details.

And that's the last Kids' Club of the year!
It's been a fantastic year, and we've loved getting to know all the children. A huge thank you to Gwyn and Guy from Woodbridge Quay Church, Julie from Just42 and Miriam our wonderful volunteer for working alongside us and helping make each session such a success.

Thank you to The Company of Four for the hire of the Fred Reynolds Centre.

We hope you all have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you again in September!

Over the past few weeks, Just42 has supported 12 primary schools, seeing 260 young people as they prepare for the exciting transition from primary to high school.

It has been a privilege to help young people talk about any worries they may have, explore where they can go for support, and share what they're looking forward to. Most importantly, we've been able to let them know that Just42 will be a friendly face they can come and chat to when they start at Farlingaye and Kesgrave high schools.

We wish every young person finishing their final days at primary school the very best of luck for the next chapter. Remember, we'll be at Farlingaye and Kesgrave High School, so come and say hello if you need us, we're here for you!

A huge thank you to all the primary schools that made us feel so welcome, to the dedicated Just42 staff who worked so hard to deliver these sessions, and to our fantastic volunteers from Quay Church and the Army Welfare Service for their invaluable support.

We can't wait to see you all in September!
