Morning everyone,

A couple of updates for you.

1. EWLOE ROUNDABOUT GRASS CUTTING - Potentially this will happen next week, they need to sort the traffic management out first to be able to get this location cut back and tidied up.

2. POTHOLES AT THE BOTTOM OF GLADSTONE WAY NR QUEENSFERRY ROUNDABOUT - emergency repairs taking place and they will be there on June 23rd to sort the job out properly.

3. HILLSIDE HAWARDEN- awaiting an update, possibly later today regarding the verges that have been left for way to long.

Seriously needs to be cut back and have regular maintenance.
Overgrown paths, verges, can't see road signs, the biggest potholes and fly tipping at the bottom of Gladstone Way heading towards Queensferry Roundabout.
What an eyesore.
When did this become OK?

This isn't acceptable at all. I will be writing in and asking when it was last maintained and more importantly when will this area be cut back and tidied up.

Pride in our community is lacking unfortunately. We can't continue as we are currently.

Following on from the celebrations at Penarlag CP school, I then headed off to meet with our Events Team who run Hawarden Carnival each year for some final preps, I took a few moments in the sun, the field had been prepped perfectly by Hawarden Community Council in readiness for The Car and Motor Show. It's always a huge success and is ran by Deeside Round Table, the event takes place tomorrow at Gladstone Playing Fields and the sun definitely has its hat on. Amazing bunch of volunteers who do so much for the local community, they really are unsung heroes ๐Ÿ™Œ
